Rooted and upgraded How to add to app

Postby mij » Mon Nov 02, 2015 2:55 pm

Hello,
I had not used my wink hub since rooting in back in June. I followed the upgrade instruction and the hub is notw showing "Linux flex-dvt 2.6.35.3-flex-dvt #32 PREEMPT Tue Apr 29 23:15:31 EDT 2014 armv5tejl GNU/Linux". I restored /etc/hosts to the original (no external names pointing to 127.0.0.1). I can ssh in to the hub with no problem. I have not been able to add the hub to the android app.

I removed the wpa_supplicant.conf file and then reboot. The hub reboots and the light flashes (pinkish/purple). I then start the wink app and select add wink hub, following the prompts I provide the ssid and password and select connect now. The leds change to flashing yellow and then solid yellow. The app eventually times out and says there is an error, possible bad ssid/password or it needs to be replaced. It just hangs with a solid yellow light. If i power cycle the hub the light is blue and everything seems ok but it doesn't get added to the app.

While the app is trying to add the hub, once the leds turn solid yellow I am able to ssh into the hub and I see theses messages/errors below. It seems to be related to bad certificates or host name resolution. I am able to resolve the host name,hub-api.winkapp.com using nslookup. Do i need something special in /etc/hosts to get this working normally ?
