The interesting part is:
Wink Hub 2 uses a new hardware based feature called secure boot. Secure boot ensures that only software created by Wink can run on your hub. This makes it nearly impossible for hackers to run malware or compromise the integrity of your hub.
It would be nice to know, what exactly this secure boot feature is. Since I am not aware of any malware or virus attacking old Wink Hub, I wonder if by creating this feature they try to target those people who root their Wink Hubs. I cannot think of any other purpose this secure boot would be serving.
What is your opinion on this?
