Re: Howto update to 00.86

I'll check the DNS settings as suggested, if I need to make changes from which step should I run again? From what I can tell, all it failed to do was set the time... your hub probably thinks it's January 1st 1970. Here is an example of me manually setting the date "date -s" to 1/1/1970......

I suspect something happened to your wink device outside of the norm... example, you should never ha...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

Hi, Thanks the solution below unlocked the permission chmod +x /root/platform/* however, when I ran step 4 again, nothing appeared after running '[root@flex-dvt ~]# /root/platform/upgrade.sh', so I continued on steps 5-6. Checked the updater-rootfs was attached to mtd2, and the following was produc...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

But when I ran step 4 again, permission to run update is denied. [root@flex-dvt ~]# /root/platform/upgrade.sh -sh: /root/platform/upgrade.sh: Permission denied Thanks. I don't know how that could happen... it sounds as though the permissions on upgrade.sh were changed. You can try... chmod +x /root...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

I also tried editing the resolv.conf file directly adding the second nameserver as nameserver 52.4.183.25 nameserver 52.0.103.131 But same error occurs. Any further help appreciated. Thanks You can add the following to your /etc/hosts and it shouldn't even need to attempt dns lookups. 54.231.1.249 ...
