Re: Howto update to 00.86

Thank you, I will try that. I have blue light back on my wink hub, since the update, without the date being corrected will do that next. Just wanted to update you to say that the hub is now fully working again and blue solid light.

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

Sorry I copied the wrong parts, understand that these are the outputs. The problem is when running /root/platform/upgrade.sh not update is generated like the last time, line just defaults to prompt.

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

Hi, Thanks the solution below unlocked the permission chmod +x /root/platform/* however, when I ran step 4 again, nothing appeared after running '[root@flex-dvt ~]# /root/platform/upgrade.sh', so I continued on steps 5-6. Checked the updater-rootfs was attached to mtd2, and the following was produce...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

fyi CloneNum3 - I'm not sure if the date issue where my update fails has to do with my being based in Europe and system date configured in wrong format?

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

I ran it again and got a different result. As previously mentioned prior to this no changes to DNS on my server or router (ISP blocks changes to DNS). I suggest copy/paste... first line makes a backup of your existing file, second one overwrites the active file. [code]cp /etc/resolv.conf /database/r...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

What modifications have you made with respect to DNS up to now? I haven't made any changes DNS on the hub. If you've made changes to your home router, can you still browse to websites you have never browsed to? cnn.com, asdf.com, etc? No changes, my ISP has blocked all access to changing DNS settin...

Re: Howto update to 00.86 - error step 4

Hi I'm attempting to upgrade a new hub after following various instructions to root and maintain SSH. I have successfully rooted it, tried to connect unfortunately on the same day as Wink certificates expired. So following posts I'm trying to upgrade to 00.86 to install fix. However, I'm stuck on fi...
